LLG provided mapping services for Tri-State Clearing and Tree Service for their obstruction removal project at the Capital City Airport in York, Pennsylvania. TriState was tasked with clearing and trimming trees in the area surrounding the airport that breached the airport easement height.
LLG used ESRI ArcGIS online (AGOL) to locate trees in the field and stake them for removal or trimming. After TriState performed the tree removal and trimming, LLG went back out in the field to locate the marked trees and used a GNSS receiver laser offset workflow to determine the height remaining of trimmed trees, to help TriState determine if the trees were cut to the appropriate height.
