LLG completed a “Train the Trainer” program for UGI, a natural gas and power distribution company in Pennsylvania, to train the client on mobile field data collection best practices with high accuracy GNSS/GPS receivers. Training consisted of a classroom style lecture and outside field exercises.
UGI is using the Eos Arrow Gold GNSS receivers with ESRI Fieldmaps for their mobile field data collection solution. LLG provided onsite training at the client’s headquarters for over 15 trainers, which included presenting background information on GNSS mobile field data collection, giving step-by-step instructions on how to set-up the receivers, and leading a field session for the group to practice collecting data with their receivers. LLG also provided an extensive guidebook with detailed instructions on set-up, workflows, and troubleshooting for the trainers to utilize when training their staff.
LLG also provided support to UGI on equipment selection to structure an RTK network of Eos Arrow Gold base stations for statewide coverage as part of UGI’s UNITE mission to implement their digital asset management and provide for real-time as builts during construction.
