LLG provided technical assistance support to PennDOT Connects, an initiative of the PA Department of Transportation that aims to better integrate land use, development, and transportation planning through early and meaningful involvement of local governments in the planning process.
Specifically, LLG provided the following services:
- Management of an online PennDOT Connects Support Hub, which includes knowledgebase resources and news and provides a platform for requesting technical assistance from PennDOT Connects experts and planning partners.
- One-on-one technical assistance to PA municipalities that needed assistance in connecting land use and transportation planning issues.
- Development of outreach materials, including newsletters, brochures, and technical fact sheets.
