LLG led a community-based planning process to develop a regional recreation, parks and open space plan for four northern York County municipalities and the Northern York School District in southcentral PA.
LLG’s activities for this project included:
- Working with a 15-member citizens advisory committee
- Conducting analysis of existing land use patterns, natural and cultural resources, and recommendations for the region
- Holding workshops to involve the community in developing design concepts for new parks, greenway plan, and improvements to park facilities
