LLG provided planning, design and land development services to Presbyterian Homes, Inc. for the development of a mixed used project based on the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Development and low impact design. The project is located on a 65-acre tract of land in Carroll Township, York County, PA.
LLG led a multi-disciplinary team in a 2½ day design charrette aimed at creating consensus among stakeholders. The charrette facilitated an opportunity to implement low-impact stormwater management techniques. As a result, the site uses multiple rain gardens and a large wet pond in place of the typical stormwater detention pond.
