LLG developed a GIS-based Forest Stewardship Plan for a landowner in an effort to provide for both sustainable forestry practices and habitat protection for the Indiana Bat, a federally endangered species.
LLG helped the landowner understand the multitude of environmental regulations affecting his 1,500 acres of forest land in southcentral PA.
LLG used GIS tools to identify six forest management units, each requiring different management approaches.
