LLG facilitated a public involvement process to develop a Source Water Protection Plan for the Lake Meade community in Adams County, PA.
For this project, LLG provided the following services:
- Facilitated partnership between Lake Meade Municipal Authority and local residents
- Educated residents about landscaping practices to protect Lake Meade’s water quality
- Worked with hydrogeologist to delineate wellhead protection zones
- Analyzed local zoning and development ordinances to encourage land use regulations that are protective of water supplies
